I needed a new multi-meter; my 14 year old one finally bit the dust. In addition to the voltage and resistance measurements, I needed the ability to measure AC current – up to 10 amps. This multi-meter had all the capability I needed (plus additional features I haven’t tested yet). The probes have small fine tips, which make them easy to use without accidentally shorting to adjacent contacts. The only feature I miss is it does not ship with alligator clip probes, which would be helpful – the tips of the included probes are too fine to attach clip leads. They do offer probes with alligator tips and I have those on order. A nice touch is a hinged plate on the back which makes a convenient stand. The unit feels rugged, and I expect years of service from it.
