|Seller Notes:||“This is a used Shimadzu UV160U UV-Visible Recording Spectrophotometer in fair cosmetic condition. It has some exterior scratches, scrapes, and sticker residue. This instrument powers up and mechanical activity can be heard while the unit displays “INITIALIZING” followed by “BASELINE CORRECTION.” The lamps both seem to light up. We could navigate the menus and get readings of 0.000 and 0.000 by pressing ENTER when it displayed SET SAMPLE, PRESS START KEY. We stuffed some clear plastic into one of the sample slots and got a non-zero reading of 0.549. No further testing was done. |
Includes only the UV160U spectrophotometer with lamps installed and a power cord. Nothing else is included. No sample tubes/carriers. See photos for more details.”
